10/9/07 Start Planning Now! Fall and winter are coming upon us, and the temptation to forget about your lawn, landscape and garden is pretty prevalent. The truth is, that this is one of the most important times for horticulture activities. It is time to plant those bulbs, including the garlic in your garden. Time for pruning trees is coming up, and if you have a fall or winter garden, it should be in your thoughts. Leaf removal will be needed soon, so decide what you want to do with them before you have to make a snap decision later. If you have a pond or lake that needs it, now is the time to lime.
