About Our Estimates:

An estimate is simply that. It is a rough idea of the eventual cost of a project. If the project grows, it will naturally cost more.

This is particularly important in the area of aquatic weed control. The addition of an extra foot of water in a pond or lake of an acre, adds an additional acre foot of water. Since these chemical treatments are usually based on parts per million, and an acre of water 1 foot deep, weighs almost 3 million pounds, (2,718,144 lbs) the amount of chemical needed would increase accordingly, and the price of treatment as well.

Some aquatic plants grow exponentially. For instance, some aquatic weeds can double in volume in seven days. This is not just theory, I have seen it happen. If an estimate was given on Monday, and accepted on the following Monday, the price would, of course, increase accordingly.

Most other estimates are based on square footage. If this increases for any reason, the cost would increase accordingly.
