The chemicals we use in our pest control programs are the safest that have ever been available. Honestly, though, anything with the word "cide" attached to the end can never be made totally without danger. They are meant to destroy something. However, I can say with certainty, that the chemicals that we use are safe when properly handled and applied. Today's chemicals can be applied in lower doses, and on target, with the least amount of environmental disturbance when handled by a professional.

Think of the many other substances You use in daily life. Chlorine bleach, common table salt, and one of the most dangerous and explosive substances on the planet, gasoline, can all be used with very few restriction, and have greater danger potential than most pesticides.  We like to use pesticides as a small part of our program.

We like to see if there is something we can change in the environment to prevent them from becoming a problem, or something that can be done to stop them from being a problem, but if it is needed, a pesticide application may be the best answer.
