These are a few of the "out of the ordinary" things that we can do that you might not have thought about. I called this page "Re", because it involves restoration, renovation, reclamation, and re vegetation, which sometimes require some pre germination. Before I start to sound poetic, let me explain. When a sight is disturbed, say a construction site, or an abandoned mine, it often needs to be restored, which involves re vegetation. This may require the addition of topsoil, the incorporation of organic matter, fertilization, tillage of some type, and the addition of new plant material. In the case of mine reclamation, there are two other phases involved. The implosion of the mine, and the addition of grading material before the re vegetation begins. It may also involve the addition of aquatic plant and animal life in some cases. Restoration sometimes requires the elimination of all plant life, and the re introduction of purely native indigenous plant life. If you have a "Re" project let us know, we are happy to serve! |
