This site is our business site, for having a place to send people for more information about how we can help them deal with the things that bug them. Then we got questions, about a variety of horticultural items, so we started adding information for our customers and others who happened to accidentally stumble on our site.

The longer answer is that it is pest control as it relates to horticulture, and agriculture.

In truth, all the things we write about relate directly to pest control. How you mow your lawn determines how much lawn bug and weed control needs to be used. How you care for your trees, determines a lot about your tree pest problems. Indoor pest problems, are usually a result of something that happens outdoors. If you can stop them from coming inside, you no longer have the problem, if you don't have any place for the pests to hide, or food for them to eat, or water for them to drink, they are not likely to come to your property, and if they don't come to your property, they can't get into your home!

Have you ever gone to work to start a big project, or to make a presentation, only to find that you had left the most important component at home? That is what has happened in pest control! We left the important part behind. The important part is prevention!

How do you prevent pests in your landscape and garden? It begins with choosing pest resistant plants. The most pest resistant plants, are usually plants that are native to your area. How do you prevent mosquitoes? Drain the standing water, or move out of the swamp! How do you prevent bugs get rid of weeds, brush, rotten wood, places where insects can hide, places for them to eat and drink, and you should have a good start on prevention. Weeds? Mow more often, water the proper amount, fertilize properly, and weeds should be a much smaller problem.
